One-Sided Foundation Wall Against Sheet Piling

A contractor on an urban low-rise condominium project needed a low-cost way of attaching job-built plywood form panels to sheet piling for a ten foot foundation wall. Steel Dog® SCS-4 Coil-Studs™were the ideal solution. Using standard arc stud welding equipment, one man can weld 500 or more studs a day to sheet piling or other structural steel members.

With such a low installed cost per tie, many one-sided forming jobs that would otherwise be accomplished with gang-forming techniques can be economically done with handset forms.
